Increased focus on abuse, threats and violence!

The issue was clear before the training sessions that 500 public servants from Simrishamn, Tomelilla and Ystad municipalities conducted during May and June. The training had been initiated by Thomas Andersson, head of security for Österlen municipalities with the aim of increasing awareness and understanding of issues related to violations and threats of violence.

The training was carried out as half-day courses with 20 participants and covered a number of disciplines. What exactly is a threat, how can it occur and how will it affect me as a person? What is the difference between a generalized threat picture and an individual threat picture? What does the law say about violations and threats, what are its limits and how it looks in real life?
This, together with studies and discussions of real cases created a training package that for a limited time gave the participant the opportunity to increase their knowledge and create a balanced and true-definable picture of what it really looks like.

PSU CEO Lars-Ake Severin commented on the training "our goal is to create insight and increased  awareness, through this we create a more self-confidence and a more balanced view of reality" training was conducted by our appreciated staff at PSU Malmö office, Lisbeth Unger and Andreas Gunér.

The evaluation carried out in living up to everyone's expectation, 80% of the participants gave the training a very high grade and in the comments we read;

  • "Extremely useful"
  • "The lecturers are qualified, briefed and easy to listen to"
  • "Clear and good presentation"
  • "The term 'threat' has a more defined meaning for me"
  • “very good interaction between lectures and participators”

PSU would like to thank again for everyone's participation has resulted in very successful lectures
